TRANSFORM MOVE OBJECT

In NX7 Transform Function is divided into two categories, to move separated from the function Transform.

Click EDIT> TRANSFORMATION

Here, we are required to choose an entity such as a solid body or curves or sketches.

We can select a single feature or multiple features by clicking on the feature.

Click on the cylinder so it is highlighted and click OK

Dialog box will appear that allows us to perform many functions such as scale and mirror.

Click EDIT> MOVE OBJECT

Dialog box will appear.

Note the Object Handle that appear on objects in the form of coordinate system.

We can choose the type of motion of the drop-down MOTION.

The default option is Dynamic.

With this we can move the object in all directions.

DISTANCE, this choice of moving objects in the XYZ direction with the number we entered.

Click on the Specify Vector> XC

Choose a direction.

Type 20 in the Distance box, this will move the object along the X-direction 20

Click OK

Note that MOVE ORIGINAL is already in check.

The object will move in the direction X by a distance of 20.
